GeoInsight Hires and Promotes

GeoInsight, Inc. today announced the hiring and promotion of staff in all offices.
David P. Knox, P.E., L.S.P. of Stoneham, Massachusetts was recently hired as Senior Associate/Senior Engineer at GeoInsight’s Massachusetts office. Mr. Knox joins the company with 26 years of experience and specializes in all aspects of environmental assessment and remediation, compliance, and geotechnical projects including due diligence, site investigation, feasibility studies, and remedial construction. He has worked with a wide range of clients and his experience includes real estate development, industrial sites, landfills, Brownfields, marine/ shoreline, petrochemical, life science, manufacturing, airports, railroads, and transit systems. Mr. Knox is a Licensed Site Professional in Massachusetts, Professional Engineer in Massachusetts, and member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks, International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers, and Licensed Site Professional Association.
Kevin D. Trainer, C.P.G., P.G., L.S.P. of Kittery, Maine was recently promoted to Associate at GeoInsight’s Massachusetts office. He has played an important role as Senior Geologist with this office for the past nine years and has contributed greatly to its success. Mr. Trainer’s areas of expertise include remedial system pilot testing, design, operation, and maintenance; fracture trace analyses; aquifer characterization; and soil and ground water assessment and remediation. Mr. Trainer is a Licensed Site Professional in Massachusetts, Professional Geologist in New Hampshire, and Registered Geologist in Maine. He is a member of the Licensed Site Professional Association and American Institute of Professional Geologists.
Adam M. Weissman, P.E. of Madison, Connecticut was recently hired as Associate/Senior Engineer at GeoInsight’s Connecticut office. Mr. Weissman has over 24 years of experience and is an accomplished Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) manager. He has expertise building EHS management functions and audit programs that significantly reduce business risks and liabilities and provides assurance to top management that legal obligations and allied social commitments are met. He has demonstrated leadership and management skills in auditing, ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems, program/project design and implementation, and EHS compliance and quality assurance. Mr. Weissman is a Professional Engineer in Connecticut and a member of the Connecticut Business and Industry Association and Environmental Policies Council.
Andrea W. Kenter, P.G. of Kingston, New Hampshire was promoted to Associate at GeoInsight’s New Hampshire office and has been significantly contributing to its success for ten years as a Senior Hydrogeologist. She provides clients with technical expertise in fuel underground and aboveground storage tank management, impacted aquifer evaluations, remedial system development, and permitting and regulatory support. Ms. Kenter has vast experience in discussions and negotiations with New Hampshire State regulators, attorneys, clients, and various subcontractors. She routinely secures State funding for eligible parties to perform site investigation and remediation. She is a Professional Geologist in New Hampshire and a member of the National Ground Water Association and The Geological Society of America.
